EMMA HOLLAND GARDENS

Contemporary garden and landscape design

Creating carefully considered, environmentally sensitive spaces, where nature meets meticulous design and comfortable outdoor living.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Gardens should be beautiful, immersive, emotive spaces, designed to meet the needs of those who use them and bursting with a life of their own.

We create elegant, crafted spaces where layout, flow, colour, texture, light and movement are all carefully considered and where the structural ‘built’ elements of the design are softened and balanced by layers of loose, naturalistic planting.

Our designs respond to a client’s individual needs and preferences and to the context of the site. While each design is completely bespoke, there are commonalities: all have clear geometry, prioritise planting that promotes biodiversity, and use a restrained palette of beautifully textured, natural materials, which complement the tone of the site.

PROJECT APPROACH

Our approach to every project is the same. We start by understanding the client’s aspirations for the space, their functional requirements and tastes, then consider the look and feel of the property, existing features and materials within the site and the landscape beyond.

Our successful garden design will connect effortlessly to your home and sit comfortably in the context that surrounds it. It will create a beautiful, comfortable and characterful environment, which connects you to nature, and completely transforms your experience and enjoyment of your outdoor space.
